• In various capacities, Mr. Cimbora has over forty four (44) years experience in the piping industry.
• He has served on many committees, whose purposes were to resolve problems associated with piping systems, including those for American Water Work Association, American Water Works Association Research Committee, The American Society of Civil Engineers, and the National Task Committee on Piping System Rehabilitation.
• He has been selected as an instructor for the continuing education program sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has been and continues to be a continuing education instructor for the Florida and Georgia Rural Water Associations.
• He has presented papers and seminars on the subject of piping system rehabilitation, cleaning and evaluation to the national convention of the A.S.C.E., the National Rural Water Association and others.
• He has written and published many articles on piping system cleaning, evaluation and rehabilitation, including those published by "Public Works Magazine", :Florida Engineering Society Journal", Florida Specifier", "Water Engineering and Management", "Journal of Environmental Engineering", and "Environmental Technology".
• He authored the chapter on Piping System Cleaning for the monograph published by the American Society of Civil Engineers on Piping System Rehabilitation.
• He was a primary contributor to an extensive and in depth survey conducted by the US Army Corp. of Engineers for a cost analysis of cleaning and rehabilitating piping systems.
• In 1987, Professional Piping Services, Inc., was selected by the State of Florida to design, manage and implement a piping system cleaning program whose purpose was to effect the reduction of energy consumption in the operation of municipal potable water and wastewater systems. This program was funded by the Governor's Energy Office and done through the auspices of the Florida Rural Water Association. Completion of this initial program resulted in the Florida Rural Water Association being a recipient of a Governor's Energy Conservation Award in 1987.
• In 1990 this program was reactivated under the auspices of the Florida Energy Efficient Water Project. Mr. Cimbora serves on the Advisory Panel for this organization which has implemented energy saving improvements to water and wastewater systems.
• Professional Piping Services, Inc., is fully staffed with OSHA trained and certified field employees who have this training maintained and updated every year. They are also qualified by the annual requirements for the Phosphate Industry Council. In addition, in-house training is provided on a planned periodic basis. All field personnel are inoculated for Hepatitis "B" as a precautionary measure.
