The delicate and sensitive nature of this process requires the incoming flow to be virtually free of solids, sand and particulate matter. Hence all of the filters, screening, etc., that are an integral part of the production procedure.
Your reverse osmosis raw water supply will benefit from cleaning if;
• Prudently and pragmatically the system is cleaned prior to going into service
• The constant cleaning and changing out of filters and screening once the system is on line indicates that the water supply piping is dirty.
• The high volume/long duration post construction flushing of the system did not properly prepare the system for its designated use.
